Anthra’s programmes and projects are designed to address issues faced by marginalised livestock rearing communities, with focus on the needs of women from these communities.
We follow an iterative approach: learnings from previous projects inform our thinking when embarking on new ones. This allows us to be flexible in responding to emerging needs while maintaining a thread of continuity.
Our approach usually begins with identifying a problem faced by communities, conducting extensive research on the issues, designing feasible solutions after validating them with the community, sharing the ideas with others through our training programmes, workshops and publications and evaluating these solutions.
