    • People Led Approaches, Workshop held in Pune

    • A four day seminar was held in CDSA, Pune which brought together pastoralists from Alwar, Rajasthan, Sadri Rajasthan, Chittoor and Medak, Andhra Pradesh and Kolhapur, Sholapur and Satara, Maharashtra. This interesting and exciting event had pastoralists exchanging ideas on managing livestock and grazing lands, strategies on dealing with problems, skills and crafts to do with wool. The highlights were a session on traditional veterinary medicine preparation, spinning and felting wool and intense discussion and debates on their constitutional rights.
