2nd International Seminar on Veterinary Ayurveda (Mrugayurveda)
The unrestricted use and misuse of chemicals in veterinary medicine is gradually being recognized as being harmful to both human and animal health. It is quite well known that the uncontrolled and excessive use of antibiotics in animal health has led to problems such as multidrug resistance thereby forcing policy makers, health professionals, veterinarians and animal health providers to look for alternate solutions to combat health problems in animals. In India, the problem is further complicated by the free and rampant use of antibiotics and other chemicals such antiparasiticals by farmers, livestock owners and para professionals.
The second International seminar discusses ways to address these problems and more.
