    • 2019 Summer Interns at Anthra

    • This summer  we are happy to welcome a large number of interns and volunteers to support our work . 

      At present we have Stanislas Garnier from ISTOM, France who is studying the changing perceptions and patterns of selection of sheep by Dhangar shepherds of Maharashtra. Sneha Gawai from Tata Institute of Social Sciences ,Tuljapur who is supporting us  on our project with Pastoral women and children, Somnath Dadas  from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai is   working on an emic perspective of sheep rearing in Maharashtra, Apoorva Mahajan from the Symbiosis Centre of Media and Communication (SCMC), Pune is helping us with photo documentation and communication 

      Lora Murray from New York University is spending the summer here too while working for her Phd which examines the Human-animal relations in the context of dairy production. 

      Two more interns are expected to join us soon .
